An introduction and information as to who we are and what we do.

Who we are is Scott and Melodee Pickering, we are proudly based in the South Waikato in the town of Tokoroa.

We became involved in the RV industry approximately 6 Years ago when we purchased our first caravan, a large American “Rockwood”. We love the opportunity to get out and explore what our beautiful country has to offer, meet new people and enjoy new experiences.

In 2021 we sold our “Rockwood” and bought a second hand American Fifth Wheeler. Our experiences with this unit has led us into a another direction within the industry that we feel may have some opportunities to introduce much needed services for the “New” and existing “Experienced” RVer.

Our new to us second hand Fifth Wheeler continually failed its COF inspection due to the substandard electric brakes, after some research and discussions, we were surprised to see that this was a common problem that other Rvers experienced as well. We needed to find a solution to this issue, and after a lot of research, testing on the latest brake roller equipment, discussions with brake engineers and suppliers here and oversees, we felt that there was a definite gap in the trailer industry to provide a service of help to those in need of it to improve their investment.

We also realized that there was nothing available to those with brand new imported units from overseas especially American or for RVers planning on purchasing a large unit, to easily get the unit complied for COF certification and registration. Usually it’s been up until now, a case of those that bought one, had to go through the certification process by organizing this them selves which most will tell you that it was a nightmare.
